The Risk of Surgical Complications (RISC) calculator predicts the risk of an adverse event associated with hysterectomy. SurgicalPerformance developed this tool, based on a complex algorithm derived from real data that takes into account patients’ factors and proposed surgical technique.
The RISC application groups patients who require a hysterectomy into “low risk” (complication risk less than 3%) and “intermediate/high risk” (complication risk between 13% and 34%).

To use the RISC app, you need to join SurgicalPerformance first. The basic subscription is free. The Terms and Conditions of SurgicalPerformance.com also apply for the use of this RISC app. SurgicalPerformance does not take responsibility for the clinical outcomes of its users.
Please be also aware that surgical complications can develop in both, low-risk and intermediate/high-risk patients.
